As part of our commitment to giving back and supporting the local community, we are proud to announce our 2025 Charity of the Year: Lake District Search & Mountain Rescue Association!
This incredible organisation supports 12 dedicated volunteer teams that provide essential search and rescue services across the Lake District National Park and Cumbria region, 365 days a year. The Association is funded solely through voluntary contributions, and their life-saving work is invaluable to the area. They are one of the busiest regions in the UK and support the parent body, Mountain Rescue England and Wales. Teams include:

- Kendal
- Keswick
- Kirkby Stephen
- Ambleside
- Patterdale
- Penrith
- Wasdale
- Lake District Mountain Rescue Search Dogs
- Cumbria Ore Mines Rescue Unit
