CORE Nuclear Solutions is a Cumbrian SME dedicated to supporting the nuclear industry both locally and across Europe. Established in 2010 as part of the US-based PAR Systems for maintaining remote handling equipment at the Sellafield site, the company successfully completed a management buyout in 2021. In early 2024, it rebranded as CORE Nuclear Solutions, officially separating from the international corporation.
Our business is unique in the industry providing full-life-cycle solutions, from design, manufacturing and testing to maintenance and decommissioning.

We focus on attracting, retaining, and developing top talent, strengthening our expertise in remote handling solutions, and fostering the next generation of skilled engineers.
In the past year, we’ve expanded our team and acquired two additional facilities in Cumbria, allowing us to offer a diverse range of specialised services across the sector.

The Core Nuclear Group, consisting of Core Nuclear Solutions and DM Engineering, has been established with the strategic objective of securing and strengthening the supply chain to ensure reliable service delivery for customers within the nuclear sector. Focused on enhancing local capabilities in Cumbria, the group aims to meet the growing needs of clients as the industry evolves.
